CCC Bridges Workshop: Measure 98 & Education Equity

TODAY! August 30th, 2016, 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm (SPACE STILL AVAILABLE)

Aschenbrener Center for Philanthropy | Bamboo Room (3rd Floor) | 221 NW 2nd Ave, Portland, OR 97209

Every year, at least 10,000 students don't graduate from Oregon's high schools and our graduation rate is nearly the worst in the entire country. Our schools do well for some students but poorly for too many others - especially for our students of color, and immigrant and refugee students. This November, Oregonians will vote on Ballot Measure 98 to improve our high schools by directing new state revenue to career-technical education, college-level classes and high school dropout prevention.

Join the CCC and 'Yes for 98' to get an insider's look at the campaign, discuss the community-specific and culturally-relevant strategies we'll need to win, and be provided with immediate opportunities to get engaged. This event is open to all Bridges cohorts and alumni as well as community members and partners.  Space is still available, however please click on the button below to register to attend!
