The Slavic Leadership Development Project (SLA-LDP) is led by the Slavic Network of Oregon, housed under the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization, and in partnership with the Slavic Community Center.

The project represents leaders from the Slavic community including pastors, young people who are first or second-generation U.S. citizens, and elders who bring strong histories and memories of their lives in Russia and the Ukraine. These community members understand that they must become more visible to address policy change at the local and statewide level. The mission of the project is to develop and strengthen their leadership capacity in the Slavic community to advocate for priority community-identified issues.
