COMMUNITY BRIEFS

The Research Justice Institute (RJI) at the CCC leads and participates in many projects across the state and country. However, a lot of this work, especially with our dominant institution partners, has not been shared publicly and key insights are confined to reports to project partners and funders.

We want to change this practice.

We believe that it is in our communities’ interest for us to share important learnings and findings as we engage with both dominant institutions and community-based partners on how to put data equity and data justice into practice.

We decided that the best way to share this information was in the form of community briefs: short, accessible, and informative summaries of the work we’ve done. We will continue to add community briefs to this page as we wrap up projects. To learn about when new community briefs are posted, please sign up for our CCC newsletter.
