Our Summer Soirée is the Coalition of Communities of Color’s annual fundraising gala. This year we are celebrating 25 years of collective action. This is an opportunity to deepen your connection to our work, gather with 500+ community leaders and partners, and invest in our mission to advance racial justice through sponsorship, paddle raises, and build community among supporters of racial equity. Your sponsorship helps honor our past and power the work ahead. This year, join us in celebrating 25 years of progress and bringing our community together and learn how to join us in moving forward the next 25. There will be lively conversations and plenty of time to connect with dozens of community partners and leaders. The event will include a wide range of small bites served buffet style, a brief program reflecting on our work, and a dance party. Get ready to show up and show out at this year’s event
Who we are and what we do
At CCC, we believe the community should power decision-making that impacts our everyday lives. Historically, we know that hasn’t always been the case. We formed in 2001 to bring the voices of our culturally diverse communities together for systemic change. As an organization, we do so through our three main programmatic areas: the Research Justice Institute, Environmental Justice, and Collective Advocacy. As a coalition, CCC is comprised of 20 culturally specific member organizations – each with their own unique mission, but all working together to advance racial justice and better outcomes for BIPOC communities in Oregon.
