We are hiring a new Data Ecosystem Manager to shift how communities and governments use data to understand climate and health.

The Coalition of Communities of Color is launching a new collaborative partnership with community-based organizations and governments to create a local level data ecosystem. As the Data Ecosystem Manager, you will drive this new initiative to strengthen community power and generate upstream changes to invest in health equity and climate resiliency. You will convene partners to build a shared understanding of the role of community data and draw on these outcomes to shape the creation of a new data ecosystem and support its implementation.

What’s a data ecosystem? By data ecosystem, we mean an interconnected network of data provided by community-based organizations and government partners, with a plan not only for managing this data but also its governance, use, and communication through means such as infographics, dashboard, community forums, and other means of sharing information.

What if I’ve never worked with data before? If you’re passionate about bringing people together to work for racial equity but are new to working with data, we strongly encourage you to apply. This position offers opportunities to learn about data use in a collaborative, supportive environment.
